Seize the Book

Stephen King
Stephen King writes horror stories, the best horror stories, and has been doing so for a very long.   In On Writing, King informs us, he started writing in early childhood.  His first commercially published book, Carrie, occurred in 1974.  Since then he has written about 47 novels, as well as short story collections, and screenplays.  Many of his books have been adapted to the movies.   He also writes under the name of Richard Bachman.

He was born in 1947 in Portland, Maine, and for the most part was raised in Maine, and continues to live there as an adult.  Recently he has turned into a snowbird, and over winters in Florida.  His latest book, Duma Key, takes place along the Gulf Coast of Florida near Sarasota.  I imagine the move has more to do with watching the Red Sox’s spring training than the weather.   King supports the Boston Red Sox baseball team, and has written at least two books about them, The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon and Faithful.  He co-authored Faithful with Stewart O’Nan.

Below are listed some of his books that I have enjoyed the most, as well as, the books mentioned above.
